Phi’s Lead Carpenter provides carpentry team leadership, schedules team work, coordinates job responsibilities for all Phi carpenters on site, overseeing framing layouts for crew, supervises their daily work, and ensures the safety and productivity of Phi carpentry crews at the work site who install/assemble carpentry components and structures. As a key participant in the relationship with the design team, the homeowner and/or the client, the Lead Carpenter acts as a supportive management liaison and client interface. Can effectively communicate any updates and daily productivity to Sr. Management when requested. This candidate should have 7 to 10 years’ experience as a qualified and competent journeyman carpenter, who is familiar with other construction trades and crafts. The Lead Carpenter should have the ability to read, interpret and question blueprints. This individual must be organized; customer focused and think outside the box.
